St. Joseph’s Indian School - $15,000
The St. Joseph's Indian School offers Sioux boys and girls from broken homes in North and South Dakota a home away from home. The school provides education from Grades One through Eight.
St. Labre Indian School - $1,500
The St. Labre Indian School offers preschool through high school education for Crow and Northern Cheyenne children.
Alfred
F. Jablonski Endowed Scholarship -$22,000
The
Alfred F. Jablonski Endowed Scholarship has been established at
the Seton Hall University School of Law.
Institute of the Arts - $5,000
This grant was made to provide educational grants to students of the Institute of the Arts. The Institute of the Arts’ mission is to operate an educational facility for the arts in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Salvation Army - $4,000
This grant was made for the purchase of food for the victims of Hurricane Katrina as part of the Perth Amboy Gulf Coast Relief Fund Project.

to Survivors Scholarship Fund - $10,000
This scholarship fund, established at Ramapo College,
provides educational grants to children of American soldiers killed
in Iraq.
Ronald
L. Griffin Memorial Scholarship Fund - $2,000
This
scholarship fund was established in memory of Ronald Griffin who
gave his life so he could save those of his friends being robbed
at gunpoint. The fund provides educational assistance to students
of Mr. Griffin's alma matter, Weequahic High School in Newark, NJ.

The
Alfred F. Jablonski Endowed Scholarship has been established at
the Seton Hall University School of Law.
Old
Bridge Board of Education - $4,000
This grant was made to the Old Bridge Board of Education based on
a grant application made by 6th Grade Special Needs teacher Ms.
Victoria Mikrut Billig. Ms. Mikrut-Billig's grant was used to establish
a video conferencing learning center in conjunction with the Monroe
Township grant below.
Monroe
Township Board of Education - $4,000
This
grant was made to the Monroe Township Board of Education based on
a grant application made by 2nd Grade teacher Ms. Bethanne Augsbach.
Ms. Augsbach's grant was used to establish a video conferencing
learning center in conjunction with the Old Bridge Township grant
above.
Policy
The Sage Foundation only make contributions to pre-selected charitable
organizations and does not accept unsolicited requests for funds.
Eligibility
The Sage Foundation makes grants to eligible nonprofit organizations
which are those organizations that are exempt from federal tax under
section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation will
consider outstanding examples of innovative approaches to community
challenges and opportunities in
New Jersey Public Education and Youth Community Development.
The Foundation does not make grants for
• advertising;
• annual fund campaigns;
• individuals;
• loans;
• operating deficits or debt reduction;
• organizations that in turn make grants to others;
• political or lobbying activity; publications, films or videos.
